“I spoke to my Dad, he suggested I buy a sensible car—a Toyota Corolla. I knew that I would be driving a lot so the mpg rate (miles per gallon) was a big priority for me. I bought a used model, and my Dad came with me to the dealership to negotiate—so I got a pretty good deal.”
Derek got the keys on Friday and started his new job on Monday.
“They threw me straight in. That first week, I was in a different town every day trying to get PO’s (Purchase Orders).”

“I was complaining to Mitch about all the driving I was doing and my sky-high fuel bill.”
